The OECD’s Eurasia activities involve 13 countries extending from the borders of the European Union to the Far East:
why is Russia called Euro-Asian power?
Many geographers and scientists now refer to six continents, in which Europe and Asia are combined (because they’re one solid landmass). These six continents are then Africa, Antarctica, Australia/Oceania, Eurasia, North America, and South America.
Eurasia Group WAS a solid company and a great place to work with great people. Has always been somewhat disorganized and lacking strategy, but that was made up for with a genuine concern for people and a stimulating product, interesting clients, travel opportunities, etc.
For most geographers today, the dividing line between Europe and Asia runs down the eastern edge of the Ural Mountains (in Russia), then along the Emba River (in Kazakhstan) to the shore of the Caspian Sea.
All candidates must have US and/or UK work authorization. Candidates must have: a bachelor’s degree in political science, regional studies, or economics (master’s graduates may be considered if work experience is minimal—this is an entry-level opportunity)
Languages and Kristang patois
English is generally spoken as a first language by almost all Eurasians in Singapore. A number of Eurasians speak Asian languages like Malay, Chinese (Mandarin or dialect) or Tamil as a second or third language. Like many Singaporeans, Eurasians will commonly speak Singlish.
